When writing an article or some content for your web page, remember- ‘spices add flavour to a dish and make it more appealing to our senses. In the same way, keywords are like spices to our content. Keyword density is good but, to create rich content, there should be variety in the keywords used. The images that you upload to a webpage also have an impact on SEO. It’s important that your files have relevant titles, relevant Alternative Text and aren’t so big that they slow down the site. achieve a higher ranking on Google and other search engines, you’ll need to get serious about search engine optimization. SEO is the process that brings traffic to a website, but if you can’t convert that traffic into a sale, email subscriber, etc., there is no point in having it in the first place. Don’t just stuff your keywords in willy-nilly and then tack on your city and state (or region or county) at the end. Remember that in addition to conveying to Google the terms for which you want your business to be relevant, these are the phrases that your prospective customers will see when they’re searching.
The Lay of the Land
As a general rule of thumb the more words in the query the easier it is to rank for that phrase. Google prefers sites that are easy to navigate.
This means having solid navigation in your top
menu and other places on your site (like your
sidebar and footer). It also allows Google to easily
find related pages on your site. LSI is just a fancy way of saying that Google understands when other phrases match the central keyword. While focusing on user experience as we’ve advocated will work for Bing as well, you should do technical audits of your site for both search engines, to make sure you have not missed any important element. External links are links from websites other than your own. Google relies heavily on external links to determine how good a post is. And this makes sense, doesn't it? You can talk about yourself and your own skills all day long, but no one will believe you. But as soon as other people begin bragging about you, others take notice. Google allows webmasters to geographically target certain websites
or sections of your website to certain locations and regions via Google
Webmaster Tools. You can find these settings by logging into your Webmaster
Tools account, looking under Site Configuration, and changing your geographic
targeting in the Settings tab.
