Search engines (and users) look to the site architecture for clues as to what pages are most important. A key factor is how many clicks from the home page it takes to reach a page Make sure every page of your site contains at least several hundred words of helpful, well-written, relevant content; and optimize all your title tags and meta descriptions while you're at it. Webpages on HTTPS had positive correlation with higher rankings. While changing the URL and metadata for your content isn’t exactly using social to win at SEO, to us it’s all the same process. That’s because within our CMS we’ve created tools that set up SEO right from the Entry Editor — before the content is even published.
Make keywords more natural
Search engines like aged domains, and give them more authority over newer sites. Colorful images, funny pictures
and exciting visual statics are found extremely beneficial in developing tempting and captivating content. If you want the maximum number of people to behold your content, sum up a number of interesting images. However, don’t make it looks like a photography blog. HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted. Switching to HTTPS will help you stay in Google’s good books. Why is that? Well HTTPS is a far more secure system for your website to operate. It goes without saying that search engines will have a preference for trusted websites. So, in terms of your overall SEO strategy HTTPS over HTTP is a big yes seeing as though 1 in 4 visitors would abandon a website if it takes more than 4 seconds to load. Most people never click beyond the first page of results (which only shows 10 web pages), meaning there will be little/no traffic for those ranking in positions 11+. Therefore, simply being indexed won’t necessarily bring organic traffic.
Use keywords wisely
A lot of SEOs will tell you to fix the foundation of your website, meaning the template. I think content is the foundation of the website and your template(s) should serve that content. Make sure you are
doing your best to have diversity in your Anchor Text when building backlinks. As far as ranking factors go, Anchor Text which had the search keyword in it tended to rank higher in Google for exact match searches and phrase match searches. Standard results, however, are certainly not all that the search engines have to offer. For many types of queries, search engines show vertical results, or instant answers, and include more than just links to other sites to help answer a user’s questions Understanding how your website visitors find you will help you determine if your SEO, marketing or networking efforts are paying off, or if you should refocus your priorities.
Create a roadmap for linking between your own articles
Write unique descriptions for every page of your website. In case you don’t know, each single page of your site stands on its own merits. Your website as a whole does not get ranked on Google. Search Engine Marketing can be defined as a method of promoting or marketing of one’s site to increase its visibility and traffic or, in other words, gain higher rankings on the SERPs (Search Engine Result Page) of any Search Engine. Like titles, search engines typically give headings a higher priority. Clear headings that describe the content that follows make it easier for search engines to detect the major themes of your site. We asked an SEO Specialist
, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "The website with the most links, as well as the most valuable links, wins a higher “rank” in popularity."
Google My Business/Google Maps Listing and Bing Places
When I am reading articles, therefore a potential consumer, I have no idea whether a link is follow or nofollow. Clearly, a huge majority of people will not have the slightest idea that such a distinction exists! If I am intrigued by what is written about your product or service, I will click. If I really like what I see on your site, I may buy. The type of link will not be in my thoughts. Higher rankings lead to
more clicks and
visits from interested searchers, and
that search traffic is uniquely valuable
because of its high relevancy and
timeliness -- people search when they’re
interested or ready to perform an action. Once you’ve done a thorough analysis of your chances to rank on a specific term, the next step is to write an amazing article and optimize it accordingly. And hit publish. On regular pages and posts, Google will most probably grab a piece of related content, including the keyword used in the search query. That makes a lot of sense for news sites, for example. Still, I recommend adding a meta description to all your important pages.
